Placement Test

• If you scored well on the SAT, you may be exempt from the math placement test.
• If you scored well on the IELTS, you may be exempt from the English placement test.
• It is strongly recommended to take placement tests in Nepal before arriving — aim as high as you can to avoid retaking courses you already know.
• If you arrive in the US without prior scores, you will need to take the placement test at the university.
• You need at least a 75 in the math placement test to qualify for Calculus.
• You may take the placement test up to 3 times.

Course Registration

• Complete your placement test before registering for any courses.
• You must meet with your academic advisor to release your registration hold.
• You can also add courses yourself — you don't have to rely solely on your advisor.
• Plan your schedule thoughtfully so you have time for on-campus jobs and events.
• It is recommended to take one online course per semester. You may take up to 3, but only one is advised.
